Money & fees
How much does it really cost?
AppEatByte Discover has no setup fees, no commission and no monthly platform fees. The only thing you'll pay is a small fee on each online order: a card processing fee, which comes with every card payment wherever you take it, and a fixed admin fee that gets your money safely to your bank. That's it, nothing on top.
Our full fees are set out in our merchant terms, which you'll see and agree to when you sign up.
Busy store? Volume discounts are available, agreed with each store. Founding Partners also get extra features and services at no extra cost.
Eligible businesses can pass these fees directly to customers. Branded package businesses benefit from a lower rate, or can connect their own payment provider.
Any optional services are clearly priced before being enabled. No hidden charges. No surprise deductions.
What if I reject an order?
You pay nothing. When a customer orders, their payment is only held, not taken. It's taken when you accept. If you reject the order, or don't accept it within 5 minutes, the hold is released: the customer isn't charged and there are no fees.
How can my customers pay?
Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut Pay and any debit or credit card, from any country. You can also offer Klarna, so customers can pay later or in instalments while you're paid in full as normal.
When do I receive payments?
Automatic payouts, on a schedule you choose. Money from your orders goes straight to your bank account, with nothing to chase.
Need it sooner? Take an instant payout whenever you want, any day including weekends. It usually reaches your bank within 30 minutes, for a small fee shown before you confirm.
Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
No. We believe restaurants should stay because they see value in the platform, not because they're locked into lengthy contracts.

How do I get started?
Getting started is simple. Submit an enquiry and we'll take the time to learn about your restaurant, goals and requirements.
Every business is different, so we review each application before providing a tailored quote and recommended package. This helps ensure you only pay for the services you actually need — nothing more, nothing less.
How do I become a Founding Partner?
By invitation only. We hand-pick our Founding Partners, and each area only gets a limited number of places. Once they're gone, they're gone, and the place down the road could be the one that gets in first.
Make the cut and you'll get a special Founding Partner rate, extra features and services at no extra cost, plus first access to everything we build next, before anyone else sees it. Plus, your rate is protected for longer than anyone else's. What's included is agreed with each store and confirmed in writing.
Most restaurants can be up and running quickly. The exact setup time depends on the services you choose, but our goal is always to make the process as simple and hassle-free as possible.
Can I keep my current delivery app?
Yes. Run AppEatByte alongside the apps you already use, and move your regulars over at your own pace.
Do I have to use every feature?
No. Every store starts with the essentials for taking orders. Add extra features when you need them, and only those appear in your app.
Do I need special hardware?
No — AppEatByte works on the phones and tablets you already use every day. Get started with your existing devices, or choose from AppEatByte hardware whenever you're ready.
Will my customers need to download an app?
No — your customers can order through the AppEatByte Discover app/web, your website, direct ordering links and other supported channels.
